It sometimes feels like memes get a bad reputation. It seems that to some humorless individuals, they're considered a pedestrian form of entertainment. Maybe it's because they're so relatable, or because it's hard to brag about memes instead of theory. There are also people thumb their nose at them, writing them off as a huge waste of time, a - a destroyer of productivity, and perhaps a way to avoid being present. Those people don't see the full picture. Though it's undeniable that memes can suck you in and help fritter the time away, that's not always a bad thing. Regarding memes being too relatable? That's what makes people feel seen! And lastly, there's the fact that a lot of memes really do require creativity and intelligence. They're almost artistic. It seems like some serious hater behavior to denigrate meme culture, and we're not standing for that shit. It's time to defend our memes the only way we know how: by sharing them with you.
